April 10, 2020 GWAFC 2020 Camping Season Update

Friends Family and Campers of Greenwood Acres Family Campground,

We will not be open for camping before June 1st 2020. Once we open for camping we will proceed with caution and will continue to practice social distancing. We may not be opening any buildings or common areas for use this season.

Overnight reservations made to arrive on or before June 1st will be reassigned to our 2021 season or canceled upon individual requests. We will not be making any additional reservations at this time for the 2020 camping season. Once we resume making reservations we will send out an email and E-News update, so be sure to subscribe.

Seasonal Campers are encouraged to email us at office@greenwoodacrescampground.com with your intentions for the 2020 camping season. If you will not be staying with us through the season you may make arrangements to remove your items as soon as the “Stay at Home” order is lifted. We are offering on site storage until April 1st 2021 for $1000.00. This will secure your current campsite for the 2021 camping season. When we open for camping, those that have paid for seasonal storage will have the option to camp on site for a discounted overnight rate. If you have paid in full for the 2020 season we will assess any discounts or credits as we officially open for camping.

We deliver this news with the heaviest of hearts and we will continue do everything we possibly can to ensure the health and safety of all. While COVID-19 is presenting Greenwood Acres Family Campground staff and campers with some obstacles, we will in no way give up our hope to resume building memories with you and your family in the near future! This is temporary and If we all do our part to stop the spread of this virus and stay put a bit longer, we can and will save lives!
