Activities: Fishing Contest

All ages welcome! In celebration of Father’s Day weekend, there will be a fishing contest for all of the dads and their kids. $5 entry fee per dad. Bring your own fishing rod and bait. Only 1 rod to be used per family. 1 ruler and 1 tape measure will be provided per family. Rules of the contest: once a fish is caught, it will need to be measured by campers (and written down on their provided score sheet), after the time limit is up the campers will then add the total inches for the fish they caught. The team with the highest score wins and will receive a prize. Types of fish in Goose Lake:  Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Bluegill, Bowfin, Pumpkinseed, Smallmouth Bass, Redear Sunfish, Green Sunfish, Channel Catfish, Warmouth, and Black Crappie. Sign up form will close on June 15 at 11:59pm.
