Scoring is as follows: Each Ace= 1 point Each 2 = -2 points (unless they are in the same column, you would cross them and they would equal 0. Each numeral card 3 to 10 = face value. Jack and Queens= 10 points. Kings = 0 points. Jokers= -4 points (unless they are in the same column, you would cross them and they would equal 0. A pair of same cards in the same column, are crossed, moved to top of column and equal 0.
How To Start Game
You will be playing by yourself. NO partners.
Deal 8 cards to each player FACE DOWN. Do not look at them. Turn over card from pile. Put cards in 2 rows of 4 each, face down. Each player needs to turn over ANY 2 cards in their grid, faced up. Player to the left of dealer starts the game. When a player draws and turns over a card on their grid, they must discard the card that it replaced. Place card on discard pile. After a player goes out, each other player will get a turn. If a player has a lower score than the person going out, the person that went out gets double points to their score. After the round is over the scorekeeper will write down all the scores. After 4 rounds the 2 players with the lowest scores, moves to the next table and play 2 highest winners. Can not play same partner. The goal is to get the lowest score possible. Payoff at the end will be according to the lowest scores.
