Q: I want to become a seasonal, how do I get a site?
A: Our sites are only available at specific times. Sign up for our E-news to receive updates on when sites become available! You can also purchase a site already for sale.
Q: We don’t have our own golf cart or bikes, can we rent one?
A: Yes! Leisure Golf Carts LLC offers golf cart rentals within the campground for a daily fee. Check our amenities tab for pricing. Unfortunately, GWAFC does not offer bike rentals at this time.
Q: We have our golf cart/boat, can we bring it?
A: Yes! Our campers can bring their kayaks, paddle boats, or peddle bikes at no charge! There is a $10/day fee to bring in a golf cart or boat for the weekend.
Q: Do I need a fishing license to fish on the lake?
A: No.
Q: How many people can camp on a site?
A: Each site can hold a maximum of 2 adults and 6 children.
Q: I want someone to visit me, how do I register them?
A: Please contact the office through email, phone, or in person to let us know you will have a visitor on your site. A visiting fee per VEHICLE will apply. This includes seasonals AND overnight reservations. Please see the visiting policy for more information and pricing.
Q: I would like to check in early/leave late. Am I able to do that?
A: Yes absolutely, there is an early/late check out fee for $5 per hour. Please call in advance to make sure your site is empty before arriving if you plan to come early.
Q: I have a reservation but won't be there until late at night. Is that okay?
A: Yes there is always somebody at the gate 24/7 that will be available to help check you in.
Q: How far in advance can I book my reservation?
A: You can book up to a year in advance.
Q: I need multiple sites for a big family camping trip. How do I reserve 5 sites?
A: We do not do group bookings. Each site will have to be registered to the family member staying on that site. Payment in full is required at the time of booking. If everyone is paying for their own site they will have to call and reserve their own booking.
Q: Do I have to have a golf cart to use the golf course and where do I get scorecards?
A: You are more than welcome to walk the golf course. Scorecards can be found at the check-in booth or in the office.
